At some point the drapery was restored with an insert, the outline of the restoration can be seen here. it is worth appreciating the seamless nature of the restoration.

Notes

Several places where replacement sections have been inserted are visible here, most of them probably from the eighteenth-century. Unfortunately the surface of the stone is too worn here to allow toolmarks to be identified.
