Drill holes are visible in the garland. No further work has been done to carve between these holes.

Notes

Work on this piece appears to have been abandoned during the drilling process since only half of the garland on the right has been drilled. Why work stopped is not clear but it is possible that the sarcophagus was needed suddenly or perhaps the whole project was aborted because of a fault in the stone.
