Description
Several of the blocks on the right, the blocks of the lefthand doorjam, and the blocks along the bottom of this wall are worked roughly with the point chisel and not taken any further than this.

2. Lifting boss

Description
The lifting boss on the block to the right of the door was used during construction to help secure ropes looped around the block and so assist during lifting. Why it was left behind is unclear.

3. Pin socket

The three holes to the left of the door are made by the removal of metal pins which would have been inserted during construction to hold these blocks in place.
