Description
A lot of roughing-out work done with the point chisel can be seen in the bottom righthand corner of this relief around the figure of Eros. Presumably most of the panel was roughed-out in this way initially but only in this corner was the level of work left.

Notes

Like all the panels on the Sebasteion this one is carved in one piece and so could have been worked on before it was inserted into the building, though we have no way of telling for sure whether this was the case.
