Series of columns from Portus.
This material was recovered from various contexts concentrated around the Fossa Traiana at Portus and is now on display at Ostia. Whether these blocks were part of a stockpile of imports at Portus or a depot of damaged objects is debated but various attempts were made to repair these shafts.
