Description
Various pin holes can be seen on the top of the entablature blocks in the foreground. These originally held metal fixtures which helped secure the elements in place.

Notes

The core of the mausoleum is a large square of bedrock which has been cut back on all four sides and was faced with marble masonry and elaborate architectural decoration.
