Description
The head of the figure to the right is unfinished, retaining marks of the sculptor's pick. Note the difference in the level of finish with the body.

The body of the figure to the right is finely shaped with a flat chisel. The result is that the cuirass is in a state of finish but the head is not.

Block line on the right hand side where the figure has been cut back to help the blocks fit together. It seems that the sculptors were working on the ground on blocks that have not been carefully measured.
