A structural crack has been filled in a restoration sometime in the monument's history.

Notes

This is a very damaged section of the Column but the deep outlines around figures can still be made out. The way in which the spiral border responds to the placing of the figures beneath can also be seen here. Two of these soldiers were designed to have metal weapons inserted into their hands but never received the necessary drill holes.
