Just a quick update on events in Rome. During the last two weeks of May we were over working in Rome, first on a paper for the ASMOSIA conference and then with Peter Rockwell. In the second week in particular we concentrated on filming a series of interviews with Peter which will be available on the final version of the Art of Making in Antiquity website. These focused on materials, tools, Peter's work on the Column of Trajan and at Aphrodisias, and his thoughts on Roman stone carving and its place in the wider history of the discipline.
