The design of the screen has been drawn on the surface of the stone before carving started.

Description
Detailed work with the point chisel was then undertaken to remove the space between the bands of decoration.

Notes

This screen has been partially worked. The guidelines for the design can still be seen, as can be the marks of the point chisel where the carvers has started to remove the stone between the design.
