Save the date!
We are in the process of organising a one-day workshop on Saturday 23rd June 2012 with the Institute of Making. This will be similar to our event event last November. The event will take place either at King's College London or University College London. The preliminary programme currently looks as follows:
1015-1045 Tea and Coffee
1045-1100 Introduction by the Art of Making and the Institute of Making
1100-1300 A practical introduction to the carving of stone with Andy Tanser and Paul Jakeman
1300-1400 Lunch (with the option of a building stone tour of the surrounding area)
1400-1600 Different approaches to carving with the Institute of Making
1600-1700 Visit to the British Museum to view carving in its various forms
